We are a couple that keep honey bees in Central Indiana. Diane, makes the candles ( shooing me out of the way ) and I take care of the hives. Ok, truth be known she works them a lot too.
We too are suffering through this recession. We had to roll back our the number of hives we keep and both of us had to find new jobs ( after 20yrs at the same place! )
We want to assure you there is only 100% beeswax in the candles (Diane likes to say pure beeswax and a wick.) Beeswax burns longer than paraffin candles and without the dripping you see in those old movies. :) Our wicks have no metal.
Please take a look at Diane's candles. She spends a great deal of time making them just right.

We added Free Ground Shipping for orders over $100 because it's only fair. If I spend a bunch of money on a web site I'd hope they would cut me some slack too!
